Bunker Hill Bunker Hill has gone through a lot of changes. The buildings got taller and the hill got smaller. Back in the day it was a posh Victorian neighborhood. After all the toffs moved out, it became something of a slum. Then the city tore it all down and tossed in some sky scrapers which, along with the neighboring Financial District are home to the buildings that create downtown LA's skyline.
